To request a 147c letter from the IRS, get in touch with the IRS, Business and Specialty Tax line by dialing 1-800-829-4933. Their timings are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday to Friday (Alaska and Hawaii follow Pacific Time).
A list of questions would be asked because of security purposes. After everything is done and dusted, the IRS will mail the 147c letter.
