Default in HR terms is when someone is required to do something according to the law and duty but fails to do so. According to the law vocabulary, the meaning of default is to fail to be at the legal proceedings when required at the proper time. When the person fails to be available at the court for any legal issues then it is said to be the default. Also, when a person fails to satisfy any agreement or contract, or duty required by the organization, is said to have defaulted.
The failure of meeting the certain demand and conditions according to some contract or agreement or also according to the duties then it is termed as default.
