What is Job Seeker?
A job seeker is a word that has replaced the term “unemployed.” Someone who has been unemployed for a long period is referred to as a job seeker. The phrase “job seeker” was coined to describe all forms of job seekers, including part-time, full-time, recent and not-so-recent graduates, and those wishing to change occupations or industries. There are multiple types of job seekers –
- Non-active job searchers are individuals who are not actively seeking work and are not thinking about it.
- Monitor is job searchers who are not actively seeking work but who maintain track of recruiters’ activity on a regular basis in order to be informed about current changes in the market.
- People who are seekers or the activities are the most popular ones as they are in the market always for one.
