Understanding SOC 2® Type II

SOC 2 is the benchmark framework for evaluating how service organisations protect the data entrusted to them. Unlike a Type I report, which assesses control design at a single point in time, a Type II report tests the operating effectiveness of those controls over an extended period, providing a materially higher level of assurance.
