Moreover, these laws govern how much paid and unpaid leave employees should have, towards ensuring a <\/span>balanced<\/span>\u00a0working environment. \u2022 Vacation Leave Quota <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In Egypt, full-time employees under the age of 50 gets 21 days of paid get-away leave per year. In any case, to qualify for this benefit, an employee must have completed one full year of benefit with the boss. So, if the employee has worked for over six continuous months but less than a year, the calculation of their vacation days are proportionally based on the months worked.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

For other staff members, the leave entitlement for vacation is more liberal. Employees who have completed over 10 years of service with 30 days of paid vacation leaves in Egypt per year. Also, the same leaves applies to the employee above 50 years of age. When going on vacation leaves in Egypt, the employee must formally apply and get permission from his or her employer. Further, v<\/span>acation days that are not used cannot be roll over or paid for unless specifically authorized by the employer.<\/span> In addition, the law mandates that a to take minimum of six days of vacation leave  continuously so that the employee can thoroughly disconnect from work.<\/span><\/span> Overall these rules keeps an accountable data. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On top of vacation leave, employees can enjoy a maximum of six days of casual leaves in Egypt annually. Also, casual leave may be availed of without having to <\/span>state<\/span> the purpose, and this counts under the general vacation leave. Still, <\/span>there’s<\/span> a caveat<\/span>: they can use not more than two consecutive days.
