To oversee the entire cycle of technical training for our staff, we are looking for a technical training manager.
The duties of a technical training manager include determining the need for training, creating educational curriculum and materials, and improving trainee participation in learning sessions. We’d like to meet you if you are an expert in technology and have expertise organizing training sessions in a professional setting.
In the end, you’ll make sure that every employee increases their technical proficiency, can carry out their regular duties, and can resolve client issues.
- Technical Training Manager, Technical Trainer, or other position with a track record of success
- A BSc in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
- It’s advantageous to get additional training certifications, such as Certified Technical Trainer.
Skills Required for the job
- knowledge of creating technical course materials for both technology beginners and specialists
- understanding of online learning platforms and contemporary teaching methods
- excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to translate complex concepts into simple ones
- Conduct skill gap studies for both individuals and teams.
- Create technical education programs for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
- Plan product-related trainings, such as demos of new features and simulation exercises in a real-world setting. Ensure that all new recruits receive basic technical training (e.g. on computer setup and security guidelines)
- Cooperate with professionals in the field to plan seminars and classroom-style trainings.
- Plan internal training sessions utilizing e-learning tools.
- At the conclusion of each course, evaluate if workers’ job performance has improved.
- Obtain input from teachers and students, then provide suggestions to improve the learning experience.
